Street Art by Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada

My fav: Mural in Manama (Bahrain) from Identity Series

Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada, a cuban contemporary artist living in the States, is a member of the culture jamming movement in New York City. He created several series of art works, including  my personal favorite murals from the Identity Series, which present random human faces in a realistic way.

Most of his work can be found in Spain but there are also few in other european countries and in North and South America. Here I present just a couple of his pieces, but you can learn more by visiting his official web page http://www.jorgerodriguezgerada.com where he also explains the deeper meaning of his work.

Urban Analogies, Tudela de Navarra (Spain)

Urban Analogies, Barcelona (Catalonia)

Do you like the artwork of Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada? If so, which piece do you like most? Please, share!
